Product Description

HOPEX-Highway Guardrail

Guardrails are among the most mass-produced safety products on a road project, yet their quality depends entirely on how they are made. This highway guardrail making machine exists to remove variability from your production.

The Problem with Separated Fabrication

Traditional fabrication handles guardrail production in separate steps: cutting sheets, pressing profiles, punching holes, then moving parts between machines. Every transfer is a chance for misalignment and dimensional drift. Across thousands of panels, small inconsistencies multiply into rejected batches and delayed deliveries.

The Roll Forming Answer

Roll forming shapes steel by gradual bending rather than heavy pressing. The strip travels through 15–18 stations and each adds a small amount of curvature. The material keeps its mechanical strength, the coating stays intact, and profile dimensions hold within tight limits.

Four Steps, One Pass

  1. Uncoiling — the coil holder unwinds the strip and the leveler flattens it.
  2. Roll forming — 15–18 stations build the W-profile progressively.
  3. Punching — bolt holes are punched in synchronization with the moving strip.
  4. Cutting — the Cr12 blade (HRC 58–62) cuts each panel to length automatically.

Built to Run Every Day

Road construction is seasonal and deadlines do not move. The 120 mm shafts carry forming rollers with minimal deflection, the dual 22 kW motors with K107 reducers supply steady torque at 5–15 m/min, and the Cr12 blades hold HRC 58–62 edge hardness so blade changes stay infrequent even on galvanized strip.
