Solar strut channel roll forming machine for 41x41 to 41x72 channel. Galvanized 1.5-2.5mm strip, 26 passes, inline punching, 10-15 m/min.

Product Description

HOPEX-Strut Channel

Tooling wear decides how long a channel line holds tolerance. On this solar strut channel roll forming machine, all 26 forming passes use Cr12 mould steel rollers, vacuum quenched to HRC 58–62.

The mill forms 41×41, 41×52, 41×62 and 41×72 channel from galvanized strip 1.5–2.5 mm thick at 10–15 m/min. Moreover, a water circulation system removes forming heat, which slows tooling degradation over extended shifts.

Specified for plants running channel production continuously rather than in short batches.

Wear-Resistance Package

  • Cr12 mould steel rollers — vacuum quenched, HRC 58–62 surface hardness.
  • Water circulation cooling — controls tooling temperature during continuous forming.
  • φ80 mm main shafts — 45# steel, quenched and tempered against torsional fatigue.
  • 40Cr levelling shafts — high-frequency quenched, 70 mm diameter.
  • Cast iron housing stands — stable roller alignment reduces uneven wear.
  • Cr12 cutting tooling — the tracking saw section is built for repeated cut cycles.

How Tooling Life Is Protected

Roller wear comes from three sources: abrasion, heat and misalignment. This line addresses each.

Abrasion resistance comes from Cr12 vacuum-quenched rollers at HRC 58–62. Heat is managed by the built-in water circulation system. Alignment is held by the cast iron housing frame, which keeps stands in position so load spreads evenly across all 26 passes.

In addition, the drive uses two 18.5 KW K97 hard-tooth-surface reducers with gearbox and coupling connection. Consequently torque transfer stays smooth, and shock loading on the roller sets is reduced.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What roller material is used and why?

Cr12 mould steel, vacuum quenched to HRC 58–62, chosen for abrasion resistance in continuous production.

Q2. How is forming heat managed?

Through a water circulation system integrated into the main forming machine.

Q3. How many forming passes are there?

26, which spreads deformation and reduces localised roller stress.

Q4. What sections are produced?

41×41, 41×52, 41×62 and 41×72 from strip widths of 135, 157, 177 and 197 mm.

Q5. What drives the mill?

Two 18.5 KW K97 hard-tooth-surface reducers, gearbox transmission with coupling connection.

Q6. What speed and length are supported?

10–15 m/min with inline punching, workpiece length up to 6000 mm.
