Product Description

HOPEX-Solar Channel

The HOPEX solar channel roll forming machine rolls four channel depths from the same mill: 41×41, 41×52, 41×62 and 41×72. Each size runs from its own feeding strip width — 135, 157, 177 and 197 mm respectively — so the section profile stays true across the range.

Furthermore, the line forms galvanized strip 1.5–2.5 mm thick at 10–15 m/min. Consequently a single solar channel machine covers a full channel family instead of one fixed section.

Suited to producers who supply several channel depths and need predictable geometry on every size.

How the Profile Is Formed

Channel geometry is built gradually. The mill carries 26 forming passes of Cr12 mould steel rollers, vacuum quenched to HRC 58–62, mounted on φ80 mm shafts of quenched and tempered 45# steel.

Moreover, the stands sit in a cast iron housing frame and the drive comes from two 18.5 KW K97 hard-tooth-surface reducers through a gearbox with coupling connection. A water circulation system holds tooling temperature steady, which keeps the lip and web dimensions consistent from the first metre to the last.

Decoiler → 5-Roll Leveller → Servo Feeding → Non-Stop Reverse Punching → 26-Pass Roll Forming → Tracking Circular Saw → Output Platform
